Common Mistakes

  2. Extend your arms out to the sides at shoulder height, with your palms facing down.
  3. Rotate your arms in small circles forward for approximately 20 to 30 seconds.
  4. Then change direction and rotate your arms in small circles backward for the same duration.
  5. Make sure your movements are controlled and steady, without letting your arms drop.

Main Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the deltoids (shoulder muscles), but the trapezius (neck and shoulder muscles) and rotator cuff muscles are also engaged.

Possible Alternatives

  • To increase the intensity, you can use small weights or resistance bands while rotating.
  • For lower intensity or if you are recovering from an injury, reduce the range of motion or shorten the duration of the exercise.
