Benefits

The Quadruped Shoulder Rotation offers several benefits. It improves shoulder mobility and flexibility, strengthens the muscles around the shoulder joint, and helps prevent injuries. It also contributes to better posture and strengthens your core.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Moving too quickly: Take your time with each repetition to use the full range of motion.
  • ! Rotating too far: Do not force the rotation; move within your comfortable range.
  • ! Not keeping your back straight: Make sure your back remains straight and your core is engaged throughout the exercise.

Primary Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the rotator cuff muscles, deltoids, and the muscles around your shoulder blades. Your core muscles are also engaged for stability.

Possible Alternatives

To adjust the intensity, you can add light weights to your hands. Another variation is performing the exercise in a side-lying position, which places more emphasis on the rotator cuff muscles.
