Kneeling Landmine Press
The Kneeling Landmine Press is a dynamic exercise that focuses on strengthening your shoulders and upper body. What makes this exercise unique is that it uses a landmine setup, which creates a natural arcing motion that is gentler on your shoulders than traditional pressing movements.
Execution
-
1
Begin by kneeling with your body upright and a landmine barbell in front of you.
-
2
Grip the end of the barbell with one hand while placing your other hand on your hip or extending it for balance.
-
3
Inhale and bring the barbell to your shoulder, with your elbow pointing down and back.
-
4
Exhale as you press the barbell upward and slightly forward until your arm is almost fully extended.
-
5
Lower the barbell back to the starting position in a controlled manner while inhaling.
-
6
Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions, then switch arms.
