Seated Dip Machine

The seated dip machine is a good alternative to regular bodyweight dips. The adjustable resistance makes the exercise suitable for people for whom their body weight is too heavy (or whose strength is insufficient). It is also a good alternative for those who add weights to themselves for more resistance during dips. This naturally depends on how much resistance the machine can create.

The angle of the machine normally ensures that you are pushed against the backrest instead of pushing yourself out of the seat at high resistance. That is why it is usually tilted slightly forward. In some cases, a belt must prevent you from pushing yourself upward.
