Side Shoulder Stretch

The Side Shoulder Stretch is a simple yet effective exercise to improve the flexibility and range of motion of the shoulder muscles. This stretch helps loosen the muscles around your shoulder blade and may reduce tension in the neck and upper back.

Execution

  1. 1
    Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.

    Cross your right arm over your body and keep your arm parallel to the floor.

    Place your left hand on your right elbow.
  4. 4
    Gently pull your right arm with your left hand until you feel a stretch in the outside of your right shoulder.
  5. 5
    Hold this position for 15 to 30 seconds.
  6. 6
    Switch arms and repeat the stretch.
