Execution

  1. 1
    Start on your knees, sit on your heels, and spread your knees approximately hip-width apart.

    Extend your arms in front of you on the mat and gently lower your forehead toward the floor, coming into Child Pose.

    Breathe in deeply and, as you exhale, lift your buttocks off your heels and roll your body forward until your shoulders are above your wrists and you are in a kind of low plank position.

    Hold this position briefly, then roll back into Child Pose as you inhale.

    Repeat this movement for several breaths.
