Dumbbell Fly

The Dumbbell Fly is an effective exercise that focuses on expanding and strengthening your chest muscles. In addition to improving muscle definition, this exercise also helps improve your posture and increase your range of motion.

Execution

  1. 1
    Lie on your back on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand. Keep your feet flat on the floor.

    Extend your arms above your chest, with a slight bend in your elbows. This is your starting position.

    Inhale and slowly and controllably lower the dumbbells out to the sides while keeping your elbows slightly bent.

    Once you feel a good stretch in your chest muscles, use the strength of your chest to bring the dumbbells back to the starting position while exhaling.

    Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
