  6. 6
Alternate between right and left for the desired number of repetitions.

Benefits

  • Improves muscle definition in the biceps and forearms.
  • Increases grip strength and forearm strength.
  • Promotes better muscle balance and symmetry between both arms.
  • Improves coordination and stability through the cross-body movement.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Moving too quickly: Focus on a controlled movement to achieve maximum muscle activation.
  • ! Using weights that are too heavy: Start with a lighter weight to maintain proper form and prevent injuries.
  • ! Moving the elbows: Keep your elbows close to your body to maintain focus on the biceps.

Key Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the biceps brachii, with secondary involvement of the brachialis and brachioradialis in the forearms.

Possible Alternatives

  • For a lighter variation, perform the exercise one arm at a time without weight to perfect the movement and technique.
  • To increase the intensity, try performing the exercise with a resistance band under your feet instead of dumbbells.
  • Another variation is to add a wrist rotation at the top of the movement to place extra emphasis on the biceps.
