The Dumbbell Kickback is an effective exercise for strengthening and toning your triceps. This exercise is unique because it focuses on isolating the triceps without placing much stress on other parts of your body.

Execution

  1. 1
    Start with a dumbbell in each hand. Hinge forward at your hips with a straight back and keep your elbows close to your body.

    Inhale and keep your upper arms still, then raise the dumbbells by extending your arms. Your arms should be parallel to the floor.

    Hold this position briefly and exhale as you slowly return the dumbbells to the starting position.
