Jump Rope: Double Under

The Double Under is an intense jump-rope exercise in which the rope passes under your feet twice with each jump. This exercise improves your coordination, speed, and cardiovascular fitness.

Execution:

    Begin with the rope behind your feet and hold the handles firmly.

    Swing the rope over your head and make a quick wrist movement to let the rope pass under you twice with each jump.

    Jump with both feet at the same time and slightly higher than in a normal jump to allow time for the rope's double rotation.

    Keep your elbows close to your body and use your wrists to turn the rope, not your arms.

    Land softly on the balls of your feet and prepare for the next jump.
