Benefits

  • Improves the strength and definition of the biceps and forearms.
  • Increases wrist flexibility and strength.
  • Provides constant resistance through the resistance band, leading to better muscle activation.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Performing the exercise too quickly. Focus on a controlled movement for maximum muscle activation.
  • ! Moving the elbows during the exercise. Keep them close to your body for an effective workout.
  • ! Putting too much tension on the band. Start with lighter resistance and work your way up.

Key Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the biceps brachii, brachialis, and brachioradialis in your arms, as well as the forearms through the rotating movement of the wrists.

Possible Alternatives

  • To increase the intensity, step farther apart on the band or use a band with more resistance.
  • For a lighter variation, decrease the distance between your feet or use a band with less resistance.
  • Try performing the exercise seated on a chair for another variation that emphasizes the biceps.
