Execution

  1. 1
    Sit on the end of a bench with your legs spread wide apart. Hold a dumbbell in one hand.

    Place the upper arm of the arm holding the dumbbell against the inside of your thigh. Make sure your arm is fully extended.

    Inhale and curl the dumbbell upward toward your shoulder. Focus on moving only your forearm.

    Pause briefly at the top of the movement and contract your biceps firmly.

    Exhale and slowly lower the dumbbell back to the starting position.

    Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch arms.
