Kettlebell Plank Taps
Kettlebell plank taps add alternating hand reaches to a high plank. The goal is to keep the trunk steady while briefly balancing on one hand.
Execution
-
1
Place a kettlebell on its stable base within reach in front of your hands.
-
2
Set up a high plank with your hands beneath your shoulders and your feet apart for balance.
-
3
Lift one hand, tap the kettlebell gently and place the hand back on the floor.
-
4
Repeat with the other hand while keeping your hips level.
Technique
Do not lean your weight onto an unstable handle. Widen the feet or shorten the reach if the hips rotate.
