The Quad Stretch is an essential exercise for stretching the quadriceps, the muscle group at the front of your thigh. This stretch helps improve your flexibility and reduces the risk of injury during other activities.
Execution:

- Lift your right foot and bring your heel toward your buttocks.
- Grasp your ankle with your right hand and pull your heel closer to your body.
- Hold this position for 15 to 30 seconds.
- Slowly release and repeat the stretch with your left leg.
Main Muscles:
- Quadriceps
Benefits:
- Improves quadriceps flexibility.
- Helps prevent knee and thigh injuries.
- Can improve performance in sports and daily activities.
Common Mistakes:
- Not keeping your knees together during the stretch.
- Pulling your ankle too hard, which can lead to injuries.
- Bending your back instead of keeping it straight.
Possible Alternatives:
- If you want more of a challenge, try the stretch without holding on to anything to improve your balance.
- For a gentler variation, you can perform the stretch while lying down.
