The pistol squat is a challenging exercise for the legs and core. Below is a step-by-step explanation of how to perform this exercise:

  1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Lift one leg and extend it forward so that you are standing on one leg. Keep your other leg straight and bent, with your heel on the floor.
  3. Now slowly lower yourself by bending your knee. Keep your back straight and your chest up.
  4. Lower yourself as far as possible, so that your knee forms an angle of approximately 90 degrees.
  5. Then push yourself back up by driving through your leg and returning to the starting position.
  6. Repeat the exercise with the other leg.

Keep in mind that this exercise requires a lot of strength and stability, so start slowly and build up the exercise as you get stronger. If you have difficulty with this exercise, you can start with assistance (for example, a chair or a wall) and gradually reduce it until you can perform it without assistance.

Try to do this exercise regularly to strengthen your leg muscles and improve your balance.
