Benefits

The Single-Arm Cable Row helps build a strong and wide back. Training one arm at a time provides greater focus and muscle stimulation, which can lead to better symmetry and muscle development. It also improves core stability and reduces the risk of injuries caused by imbalances in muscle strength.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Performing the movement too quickly, which can lead to less effective muscle activation.
  • ! Leaning too far forward or rounding the back during the exercise.
  • ! Using too much weight, which compromises technique.

Key Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the latissimus dorsi, but also trains the biceps, the backs of the shoulders (posterior deltoids), and the muscles around the shoulder blades (rhomboids and trapezius).

Possible Alternatives

If you want to adjust the intensity of the exercise or simply add some variation, consider trying the Single-Arm Dumbbell Row or the Single-Arm Band Row. Both exercises offer similar benefits but can be performed with different equipment.
