Execution

  1. 1
    Set the cable machine to mid-height and attach a single handle.

    Stand facing the machine and grip the handle with your left hand using a neutral grip.

    Take a step back and lean slightly forward from your hips, with a slight bend in your knees. Keep your back straight.

    Inhale and pull the cable toward your side while keeping your elbow close to your body.

    Squeeze your shoulder blades together as you reach the end point of the movement.

    Exhale and slowly and controllably let the cable return to the starting position.

    Repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions before switching arms.
