Benefits

The Chair Feet Elevated Glute Bridge not only helps strengthen your glutes, but also improves your posture and may reduce back pain. The elevated position of your feet makes the exercise more intense, leading to better results.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Lifting too high: Lifting your hips excessively can place unnecessary strain on your lower back. Ensure that your body forms a straight line and do not lift any further.
  • ! Dropping down: Do not let your hips drop suddenly. Move in a controlled manner to train the muscles effectively and prevent injuries.

Primary Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the gluteus maximus, the largest muscle in your glutes. It also engages the hamstrings and lower back muscles.

Possible Alternatives

If you want to adjust the intensity of the exercise, you can vary the height of the surface on which you place your feet. A lower height makes the exercise easier, while a higher height makes the exercise more difficult. Another variation is to perform the exercise with one leg, with the other leg extended toward the ceiling.
