Introduction: Boxing is a dynamic cardio exercise that not only improves your fitness but also your coordination, speed, and strength. It is a full-body workout that is both physically and mentally challenging and helps reduce stress.

Execution: Begin with your feet shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Keep your hands at eye level with your elbows pointing inward. Punch alternately with your left and right hand, rotating your fist so that your thumb points downward when striking an imaginary opponent. Make sure to rotate your hips with each punch and slightly lift your rear foot for maximum power and mobility.

Main Muscles: During boxing, you primarily work your shoulders, chest, arms (biceps and triceps), back, and core. Your legs and glutes are also trained through the constant movement and rotation.

Benefits: Boxing improves cardiovascular health, increases endurance, and helps burn calories. It can also improve your reaction time and hand-eye coordination, while providing an excellent outlet for stress.

Common Mistakes: Make sure not to hyperextend when throwing punches; this can lead to injuries. Always bring your hands back to your face after each punch to protect yourself. Avoid standing too rigidly; stay light on your feet and move smoothly.

Possible Alternatives: If you want to increase the intensity, try punching faster or add small weights to your hands. For lower intensity, you can reduce the speed and focus on technique. You can also shadowbox without an opponent or use a punching bag for resistance.
