Common Mistakes

  • ! Rounded back: Make sure your back stays straight while bending to maximize the effectiveness of the exercise and prevent injuries.

Targeted Muscles

The Basic Toe Touch primarily trains your hamstrings and lower abdominal muscles. Your back muscles are also lightly engaged during the exercise.

Possible Alternatives

  • Seated Toe Touch: Sit with your legs extended and try to touch your toes. This is a good variation if you cannot reach your toes while standing.
