Build a useful weekly coaching review

A structured review begins with a clear scope: one client, a defined period and a specific question. Claude can use approved FITsociety tools to gather the relevant records, organise the observations and prepare questions for the coach.

  1. Confirm the person. Match the client profile before retrieving more information.
  2. Review the period. Separate attendance, recorded training and notes according to the modules you approved.
  3. Identify gaps. Mark missing logs or unclear context as questions to resolve with the client.
  4. Choose an action. Review a proposed follow-up before saving anything back to FITsociety.

An example request for a coach

Use FITsociety to confirm this client’s profile. Review their bookings and any coach notes you are permitted to access for the last 14 days. Return recorded facts, missing context and a draft check-in agenda as separate sections. Do not create a note or change a booking.

If the assistant cannot access notes, it should state that limitation. Private notes require their own consent and module access; they are not included simply because bookings are available.

How to add the FITsociety connector in Claude

Enable the company MCP feature first. A Manager or Admin coach must approve company access during FITsociety authorisation.

  1. Open Customize → Connectors. Use + Add → Add custom connector and name it FITsociety.
  2. Enter the remote server URL below and review the detected OAuth settings. If asked for the OAuth client method, choose Register automatically for FITsociety’s dynamic client registration.
  3. Complete FITsociety sign-in, choose the required modules and begin with read-only access.
  4. Enable the connector for the conversation and ask Claude to list the available FITsociety tools before your first client review.

Team and Enterprise organisations require an authorised owner or administrator to add the connector first. Members then connect individually. See the FITsociety Claude guide and Claude’s current custom connector instructions for workspace-specific steps.

Agree what Claude may read and what it may change

Begin with the minimum modules needed for your review. Health information and private communications require additional consent. To enable a supported write, the grant must allow writes and include the specific tool.

Ask to review the exact proposal before saving, then check the affected record in FITsociety. This review step is part of the workflow you establish with Claude; the grant controls which actions the server permits.

Anthropic receives the results requested through the connection under its own terms. You can revoke future access in FITsociety, but revocation does not remove results already shared. Read the MCP security and privacy guide before using sensitive client information.

Your questions answered

Frequently asked questions

No. FITsociety hosts a remote server at the URL above. Claude needs permission to use custom connectors and the company needs MCP enabled in FITsociety.

A coach with an active Manager or Admin role approves company access in FITsociety. Claude organisation permissions can separately determine who may add the connector to the workspace.

Use Register automatically if Claude asks how to identify the OAuth client. FITsociety supports dynamic client registration. Follow the linked connection guide for the supported setup rather than pasting account credentials into a chat.

The supported note-creation tool requires the client notes module, private-communication consent, write access and explicit approval of that write tool. Draft and review the note before asking the assistant to save it.

No. The connection only exposes permitted records and tools. Enabled company features, module selections, account access, consent and applicable history limits can all affect what Claude can retrieve.

Both clients use FITsociety’s MCP server and permission model. The setup interface and assistant experience differ. Equivalent approved grants expose the same supported FITsociety tools; neither client bypasses the server’s access controls.
