Execution

    Begin in a comfortable seated position on the floor.

    Extend your legs in front of you and keep your back straight.

    Bend one leg and place that foot on the outside of your opposite knee.

    Place your opposite elbow on the outside of your bent knee.

    Gently rotate your upper body toward the side of the bent leg while placing your other hand behind you on the floor for support.

    Hold this position for 15–30 seconds, then switch sides.
