Benefits

The Body Rotation offers several benefits. It not only strengthens your core, which is essential for good posture and preventing back pain, but also improves the flexibility and mobility of your spine. This can contribute to better overall movement and may help with performing other exercises.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Rotating too quickly: It is important to perform the movement in a controlled and slow manner to train the muscles effectively and prevent injuries.
  • ! Moving the hips: Try to keep your hips and legs still during the rotation to keep the focus on the core.

Primary Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the obliques, but the entire core, including the rectus abdominis and transversus abdominis, is also trained. In addition, the muscles in your lower back are lightly engaged.

Possible Alternatives

To adjust the intensity of the Body Rotation, you can add variations such as using a medicine ball or dumbbell during the rotation. For beginners, reducing the rotation angle or sitting on a chair while rotating can help make the exercise more accessible.
