Benefits

  • Improves core stability and strength.
  • Increases shoulder mobility and strength.
  • Improves coordination between the upper and lower body.
  • Burns calories through the combination of strength and movement.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Performing the movements too quickly: Focus on movement quality rather than speed.
  • ! Not keeping your back straight: Make sure your back is straight during the sit-up and press to prevent injuries.
  • ! Using a kettlebell that is too heavy: Start with a lighter weight to master the technique.

Primary Muscles

This exercise targets the abdominal muscles, deltoids (shoulders), triceps, pectoral muscles, and the entire core for stability and strength.

Possible Alternatives

  • Use a dumbbell instead of a kettlebell if you do not have a kettlebell.
  • If the overhead press is too challenging, focus only on the sit-up while holding the kettlebell against your chest.
  • Increase the intensity by using a heavier kettlebell or performing more repetitions.
