-
4
Inhale and pull the cable diagonally downward and across your body while slightly bending your knees and rotating your hips.
-

Return to the starting position with a controlled movement.
-
6
Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, then switch sides.
Benefits

- Increases spinal flexibility and mobility.
- Helps develop coordination and balance.
- May contribute to better posture and reduced back pain.
Common Mistakes
- ! Moving too quickly: Focus on the quality of the movement rather than speed.
- ! Using too much weight: Start light and gradually increase the weight to prevent injuries.
- ! Not rotating fully: Make sure to complete a full rotational movement for maximum effectiveness.
Primary Muscles
This exercise targets a wide range of muscles, including the obliques, abdominals, shoulders, back, and even the glutes and legs through the rotational movement and knee bend.
Possible Alternatives
If you want to adjust the intensity of the exercise, you can vary the speed of execution, the cable weight, or perform the exercise with a resistance band instead of a cable machine. Another variation is the Reverse Diagonal Chop, in which you move from low to high.
