Benefits

The Crunch Frog on Floor helps build a strong core, which is essential for overall body strength and stability. It also improves your balance and coordination while offering a fun and challenging variation on the traditional crunch.

Common Mistakes

  • ! Not fully extending the arms and legs during the exercise, which reduces its effectiveness.
  • ! Moving through the exercise too quickly, causing you to lose control and increasing the risk of injury.
  • ! Arching the back too much, which can place pressure on the lower back.

Main Muscles

This exercise primarily targets the abdominal muscles, including the rectus abdominis and the obliques. In addition, the muscles in your arms, shoulders, and legs are also activated during execution.

Possible Alternatives

If the Crunch Frog on Floor is too challenging, first try the traditional crunch or bicycle crunch to strengthen your core. For an additional challenge, you can add weights to your hands or ankles to increase the intensity.
