A healthy chocolate smoothie! Does that exist? Well, in my world it does because I only use healthy ingredients! This smoothie is a good combination of
proteins, carbohydrates (from banana), vitamins, and minerals. So, this rich smoothie is a good choice to start your day with. If you remove the banana from the recipe, you have a complete protein smoothie and it still tastes very good! And because this recipe contains a lot of proteins, you’ll feel more satisfied for the rest of the day, reducing the urge to snack. Raw cacao and cinnamon are two superstars to include in your breakfast because raw cacao contains high-quality antioxidants, gives you energy, and boosts your immune system. Many people don’t know that cinnamon actually belongs to the Superfoods as well. Besides its many healthy properties, cinnamon has a stabilizing effect on your blood sugar levels and helps your body handle sugar better by converting it into energy. That’s why this smoothie is one of my favorite breakfasts!

Ingredients for chocolate smoothie
- 1 banana
- 225 ml almond milk
- 2 tbsp (skimmed quark)
- 20 gr vanilla protein powder (can also be replaced by 1/2 banana or stevia)
- 1 tbsp raw cocoa crisps
- 2 tsp raw cocoa powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Preparation method for chocolate smoothie
- Add all ingredients together in a blender
- Mix until a smooth mixture is formed.
- Pour the contents into a glass or jar and your smoothie is ready!
Tip! For extra flavor, add 5 basil leaves and some coconut flakes!
