Adriana Lima is a Brazilian model and actress best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2018. She was the longest-running model for Victoria’s Secret.

Adriana Lima (June 12, 1981) is a Brazilian model, most famous as a ‘Angel’ of Victoria’s Secret. She has also represented the brand Maybelline New York from 2003 to 2009. At the age of fifteen, Adriana Lima won the first place in the Supermodel of the World competition by Ford, the following year she placed second, after which she was offered a contract by Elite Model Management in New York City.

Lima is probably best known for her work for lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret. She walked her first fashion show in 1999, and since being contracted as an “Angel” from 2000, she has appeared in various shows. In addition, in the years 2003, 2007, and 2008, she also opened the Victoria’s Secret show. Lima has made various TV commercials, including the “Angel in Venice” ad from 2003 with Bob Dylan and her Super Bowl XLII spot. That evening, it was watched by 103.7 million viewers. In 2008, she hosted the program “What is Sexy?” for the E! Entertainment Network. At the end of 2008, she wore the “Fantasy Bra” during the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, which cost more than 1 million euros. Additionally, in 2009, she launched a new makeup line “Christian Siriano for VS Makeup”.

Lima married Serbian basketball player Marko Jarić on February 14, 2009. They had a daughter the same year.

Adriana’s favorite is boxing, although in the past, she did a lot of spinning and yoga. She loves boxing, which is a high-calorie burner when done rigorously. Adriana Lima’s training includes not only boxing but also jump rope and mainly exercises with her own body weight.

Good bodyweight exercises in her workout include squats, squat jumps, lunges, push-ups, dips, and pull-ups. She herself says she doesn’t like weights or machines. Everything she does is with her own body weight.

There are different ways to train with your own body weight, and even the famous brunette supermodel does the aforementioned exercises with considerable intensity.

Many women do dips, but they do this with too little intensity and not with optimal posture. As a result, they achieve minimal results. The same goes for push-ups and lunges. Many women start working on these without feeling the muscles working.

Breakfast

Typically, Adriana eats an egg, oatmeal, and raisins or muesli with yogurt for breakfast. Along with what she picks at, she has a few cups of coffee with skim milk in it!

Lunch

A portion of various meats (fish, turkey, beef) with some vegetables!

Snacks:

Raw vegetables like cucumbers and carrots. She does indulge her sweet tooth with chocolate too! She also has a daily spoonful of raw honey to explain “it helps your immune system.”

Dinner

A small salad. She says she sleeps better at night when she eats light!
